Symphony of the Light

“There’s a song in heaven called the Symphony of Light” – Robert BD.

Here’s what people think. They think music is words and a beat. They think it’s entertainment in the form of pleasure-consuming sounds.

Here’s what they don’t know…
They don’t know that music is a person. A personality who can breathe and feel and see and love and hate.
The drumbeats are music’s heartbeat
The piano are his nerves
The violins are his breath
The lyrics are his life
The duration is his adventure

Over the years music has revolutionized to become what he is now. He began his walk from heaven, in whose hands the Angels caressed and in whom God revealed his eternal glory.
Through music, God thought of human beings. To make one of his own kind – who could be like him. Knowing there was nothing more infinite than what he felt, he sent music to us.

Music is what what we decided to call art. He appeared in the form of words, drawings, sounds and feelings. Music defined our very souls and made us feel something much greater than the universe; something god-like. It was like divinity colliding with reality. In fact, it was…

Music possessed a certain power only the deep could access. The deepest things in this world were good and evil. They were the only things that had access. Carrying all this infinite power, they fought with each other, transcending space and time. They fought to the point of death but it was not like they had lives. Yet, one of the laws of music was that there was to be balance. So there came an equinox. Equinox drew a thin line between good and evil; light and darkness. But even lighted objects casted shadows and dark objects absorbed light, thus the black and white dots in the equinox. God was angry for this was a deep war; a war within. He knew man was endangered and going to die. So He did something. He called light out of darkness – He called good out of evil. He gave a command to Music, that good would always triumph over evil. This lead to the creation of the Symphony of the Light. God called us children of this light; children of a never-ending glory. Each passing age, He was hoping that man would discover it. That man would know the true identity and the true source of it all.

Music expresses himself like water, having form to the point of formlessness. It is true emotion – something that we have to be to appreciate. That is why someone can go like, “This music gets to me” or “these lyrics speak to me”. Fishermen, farmers, soldiers, aristocrats, scientists, the ordinary… They all need music to thrive because it is life! Sometimes even some musicians name their music after physical things like sunshine, mountains, butterflies, etc. Today, music controls the world. In every way both wrong and right. Music is not a song, or a sonata. It’s an abstract sense of rhythm and arrangement. It causes war and peace, love and hate, passion and nonchalance… Our lives are nothing but bits and pieces of notes to a perfect symphony.
